In 2025, an earthquake caused a rock slide that caused major damage to Tracy Arm Fjord and forever changed the landscape around South Sawyer Glacier.

ne of the hardest things for travelers is buying an airline ticket.   Airfares have become so complex with algorithms & AI that its no longer browsing a site (or calling a travel agent like us), picking out a time, airline, and going with the fare.  Now its a meticulous dance…

MSC is making some changes to the MSC Poesia before she heads to Alaska... As Alaska's newest cruise line, MSC is making waves by adding our state to their portfolio, however they're not quite giving us their best.    Instead of Dvinia or one of the Seas(Seascape/Seashore/Seaside), we're getting…

Oct 31 Update: SeatGuru is *poof* gone. One of the most painful things a traveler can experience is when you select a window seat on a long flight, board the plane, stow your bags, and then notice that your window seat – does not, in fact, have a window.

Princess Ultimate Package: Is it really the Ultimate? As a travel agent, we normally get access to the same deals most of you can find online, with the exceptions of a few ‘mass’ reseller sites that either rebate part of the commission (against travel agent ethics) or have amenities

One of our favorite cruise lines, MSC Cruises, will be sailing to Alaska starting in 2026 with weeklong sailings from Seattle. We’re super impressed with the pricing, and we’ve even worked out some great deals on these cruises (click here). MSC’s Alaska sailings are very-much budget driven for customers

As I get older, I really do NOT like sharing rooms with friends – including that special someone in my life, when traveling. I love sprawling out on my bed (until I feel that stupid divot/break in the cruise ship beds that have been pushed together) – and just

We’re back from a few trips on MSC – we sailed on the MSC Magnifica and MSC Seascape out of Miami and pleased to report that there’s been some very significant improvements on MSC’s America products. MSC gets beat up over its food offerings. The European-based cruise line hasn’t
